Lake Worth Resident Mrs. Harris Needs Your Help

Good Morning All,

Can you please pass this information along....

Mrs. Harris has applied for help from Rebuilding Together of the Palm Beachs and I had the great honor along with Sandi Debose, of doing a home inspection for this 86 year old homeowner in the Great City of Lake Worth.

Rebuilding Together along with Neighbors Helping Neighbors Project and the Genesis Neighborhood Association will be teaming up to try and meet the needs of this wonderful woman in her golden years. A Family freind has become her live in care taker after Mrs. Harris ran out of funds for the nursing home she was in and since she is back home her condition has improved 10 fold....

In order to keep her home we need help with the following items that the care taker is coming out of pocket for her and frankly funds are becoming very hard to come by.

Basic Daily Needs are: Diapers (Large pull-Ups), Chucks (Large), Gloves (medium), Bath Soap, Mouthwash, Lotion and Wipes

Bigger Needs: This home needs to be treated for termites and termite damage needs to be repaired through out the house, New Fencing needs to be placed in the back yard, A/C is so old they do not even make parts for it any longer, Fridge and stove on their last legs, garbage disposal is not working, Hot water heater caught fire and was repaired but needs to be replaced.

Any Monetary Donations can be made out to Rebuilding Together note "Harris" on the check or you can donate to this cause at the website http://www.rebuildingtogether-pb.org/ and reference Harris.

If you need a pick up of items please email at nhnproject@gmail.com or contact me at 561-909-8708.

Thank You for all that can help with this case and as we get closer to doing work at the home we will be asking for volunteers to help and I will keep you posted when that time comes.
