Volunteers Needed for Annual Trail Spruce-Up!

Everglades Day

Please join us on Saturday, February 5, at the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge to help "spruce up" the Refuge's public trails! This fun, family-friendly event is a great way to help the environment and spend time outdoors while earning community service hours.

Volunteers should bring bring bottled water and wear closed-toe shoes, hats, sun protection, and insect repellant. Light refreshments and gardening equipment will be supplied.

The Refuge is located at 10216 Lee Road in western Boynton Beach. From I-95 or the Florida Turnpike, take Boynton Beach Blvd. west to US 441 and head south on US 441 approximately 1.9 miles to Lee Road (brown sign on the right) and go west into the Refuge. Entrance fees are waived for Trail Spruce-Up volunteers.
