The Community Foundation for Palm Beach 2010-2011 Scholarship Program deadline is February 1, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
You are encouraged to go to our website and familiarize yourself with our scholarships. Most scholarships are open only to high school seniors in Palm Beach & Martin counties.
The online application is on our website www.yourcommunityfoundation.org refer to the Scholarship section.
The process will be online only. The application will be available until 5:00 p.m. on February 1, 2011.
Additionally, nursing and horticulture/agriculture scholarships are also open to university level students and those adults that are returning to school to study these fields.
The James H. Davis Memorial Scholarship is available to high school seniors, upper division university students and adults returning to college to pursue the agricultural/horticulture field. The following guidelines apply only to the Davis Scholarship: High school seniors and graduates of any Martin or Palm Beach County High School, Homestead Senior High School or South Dade Senior High School are eligible for this scholarship. You must be majoring in horticulture, agriculture or related pursuits. You must attend an accredited college/university/vocational school located in Florida. Student must demonstrate financial need. High school seniors will complete the common application. All others will complete the Davis application.
The Community Foundation has over 100 scholarship funds. High school students will only need to complete the Common Application. If the student is applying for a nursing scholarship, they must complete both the common application and the nursing application.
