Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities Coalition Meeting

Happy New Year!

Make sure you mark your calendars for a very special Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities Coalition quarterly meeting on February 3, 2011, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center. Fay Gibson, Program Officer and Mark Dessauer, Communications Director will be visiting from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation headquarters in North Carolina.

Mr. Mark Dessauer will be presenting on the topic of “framing the obesity issue” – “moving from blaming the individual to focusing on the environment”. Following Mr. Dessauer, is Lisa Max from Betterworld Consulting, and she will help the coalition with visioning the future and identifying the action steps necessary to get us there..

If you plan to attend, please RSVP by Friday January 28, 2011 and make reference to the new time for this special meeting to accommodate our guest speakers. Refreshments will be served at 8:45 AM.
