Time to Organize for the Great American Clean-UP!!!

Happy New Year to all!
The Great American Cleanup 2013 is scheduled on Saturday, April 13. Attached is information if you would like to manage a project during this time. After reading all instructions, please submit your Site Registration Form by email, FAX or mail by February 8 to have time to order your supplies and t-shirts. In addition, there is also a mini-grant application if you are interested in doing a beautification project, instead of, or in conjunction with, a litter cleanup. If interested, return the mini-grant application in .pdf format by February 8. We will choose up to 3 projects to fund.
Please note:
1 – You may change the date of your Great American Cleanup event if April 13 does not suit your needs. However, please contact us as soon as possible if your alternate date will be earlier to make sure that we have time to order supplies for you. Note that we will publicize April 13 as the official date with some alternate dates for other projects.
2 – We will allow t-shirt orders in Adult 2XL and 3XL sizes in addition to the regular Adult sizes, but please order only the minimum as these are more expensive. Note that smaller sizes are in vogue particularly with teenage volunteers and are the only size available for younger children. We have noted that in the past many of you have not ordered enough Smalls and are ordering too many of the Large and XLarge sizes.
3 – Because of budget cutbacks, we cannot guarantee that pick up tools will be available this year. However, we left the item on the Registration Form so that those that really need them can indicate their request. We will do our very best to solicit some additional corporate sponsors in the hope of covering the cost.
4 – We are currently soliciting corporate sponsors for the Great American Cleanup 2013. If you know a company or organization that may want to be a sponsor and get their logo on our t-shirts and materials, please notify me right away so I can follow-up with them.
