Hold the PRESSES! Mayor is leading an Adopt-A-Spot Event!!!!

Email from Joanna to Mayor Walkes:  CHEERS for Pahokee and forward thinking Mayor making a difference!

Hi Pastor Patti and Mayor Walkes,

I have a great group that wants to paint the home of Isabel McKinstry at 186 North Elm Street in Pahokee on April 3 2014. Holly's group from Career Source PBC has a training session for weeks in the Glades and they participate in PYHO as Community Service for the students to get out and help others.

Deputy Quinn has been so great with finding those homeowners that we want and need to assist.

We will need the house pressure cleaned before the event and the windows need to be caulked . If there are any suggestions of who can do these items we will be ready to paint. I have not called the homeowner yet until I hear from all involved. Our homeowners sit by the window and watch for us to come so I don't want to call here with the details yet.

I will be waiting to hear back from each of you. I have the paint and supplies to paint the house and need your support .... and blessings.

I would like to announce that Mayor Walkes has become the first Mayor in PBC to take the leadership role for the SWA Adopt A spot program. He will be leading his City in the fight against litter. Thank you Mayor Walkes.....

Always Grateful,
