WONDERFUL WISHES FOR THE HOLIDAYS...A HOME, A FAMILY, FRIENDS
Dear SAD*SAC Friend,
All the volunteers, dogs, and cats of SAD*SAC send you their prayers for a holiday season full of joy, peace, and love. May all your wishes come true...
While you sit with your beloved pet, and touch their head as they snuggle against you, think for a moment of the many dogs and cats in need this day.
The holidays are always a time to reflect, to wish, to hope…SADSAC has struggled to save the sad, sweet pets that have come to us over the last year… the cries for help have been nonstop. We saved kittens that were tossed from bridges and cars, dogs abandoned to starve in foreclosed homes, tiny puppies chained to trees, and dozens of beloved house pets abruptly dumped out on the street. They are suddenly left to fend for themselves. They starve, become ill, or are subjected to unspeakable cruelty.
We all know that these poor dogs and cats can’t write or speak up for the help they need to survive. They look at you with eyes that say, “If I trust you, will you love and protect me?”…they wish, and we hope…hope that you will care about them.
It’s up to all of us who care to be there when they need us, and we are usually the last hope…everyone else has turned away. SAD*SAC, as your local no-kill rescue organization, has stood ready for over 12 years to help the unwanted, the sick, the young and the old. As long as a pet can have a good life without pain, we will give them the help they need while we look for the perfect forever home. But we can not do it without you…they need us both to live.
The gift you give today will help provide the care to once again be healthy and happy. You can give them the second chance they so deserve!!! Any gift will makes a difference…the price of a coffee can give them their Christmas wish…
“PLEASE GIVE ME MY LIFE FOR CHRISTMAS!”
Please send them a gift and take a moment today to
go to our website www.sadsac.rescuegroups.org and donate immediately with our PAYPAL button…to help them now!

COME VISIT US SATURDAYS 10 to 3 and SUNDAYS 11 to 3 AT THE PETsMART ON CONGRESS AVENUE IN BOYNTON BEACH YOU’VE SAVED THESE LIVES!!
“Strawberry”, a 4 month old kitten badly beaten and left to die… “Mama Dog”, pregnant, abandoned, and fighting to safely give birth to her babies, ”BooBoo”, a 5 week old kitten born without a knee joint…”Itty Bitt”, a beautiful crippled tabby boy who starved himself almost to death from sadness…left behind when his owner moved…“Princess,” the elderly Lhasa Apso…blind and deaf, she was tossed aside …and so many more…..
Every day we receive calls asking for help for orphaned kittens, abandoned puppies, cats and dogs…some strays, some abused, and others unwanted, for reasons both good and bad. SAD*SAC receives no government help, no grants, no endowments…without the kind donations of those who also want to help these homeless pets, we won’t have the resources to save their lives.
Please reach out to them today!!!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CARING KINDNESS!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Robert
Boy do I owe you a huge thank you! I received a notification in the mail yesterday from my homeowners insurance stating they had done an exterior inspection of my home, and I needed to fix a cracked window and some wood rot in the back of the house...WOW had they come earlier in the year would they have had a field day at 2210 Collier Ave. Once again thank you for all you do!!!! I appreciate your efforts so much and may God bless you in the coming year!
I happy Homeowner in ROLOH.
This is from a project that Paint Your Heart Out along with Neighbors Helping Neighbors Project and ROLOH AND the whole city of Lake Worth did to improve a homeowners place and it not only was a success but the painting and repairs by DCI Construction made a major difference. THIS IS WHY WE ARE VOLUNTEERS!!!

Jupiter Beach Cleanup Schedule
We are proud to provide the beach cleanup schedule for Friends of Jupiter Beach volunteers for 2011. Traditionally, cleanups are the FIRST Saturday of every month--shine only--based in Ocean Cay Park, Anita Lankler pavilion, from 8am - 10am.
Our Team Captains have always left trash and recyclables on the street-side, close to garbage cans. Blue recyclables bags are picked up right after Cleanups by Rapid Removal, a Palm Beach Gardens firm, using their truck. Since we began tracking in August of 2006, FJB volunteers have removed more than 28,000 pounds of garbage from this 2 1/2 mile stretch of beach.
For 2011, the first cleanup is moved to Saturday, January 8; no cleanup on New Year's Day. We are moving into our 16th year of service to our beach and community! We appreciate your support and tremendous cooperation for all these years.

LIFE - Life Is Feeding Everyone
Dear ML Families,
It’s three in the morning and my wife and I can’t sleep. The first annual LIFE (Life IS Feeding Everyone) day is around the corner, 12-11-10. Think of how cool that will be 12-11-11, 12-11-12, 12-11-13, etc! This is going to be an annual day, every year, that all of us and all of those that we reach out to, show the world that there is abundance. It only takes a minute to make a difference in someone’s life and to create LIFE. So on this day, each and every one of us will do some act of kindness that includes bringing food or sustenance to a hungry person. It’s time to get our vision started. Let’s start THIS SATURDAY, 12-11-10!!
Here are some ideas:
1. A sandwich to a homeless person on the corner- Peanut butter and Jelly??
2. Canned goods to a soup Kitchen, or if you want, I can take your cans and bring them to the DCF distribution Center. I will pick up cans or you can drop them off at my house. Just call me!
3. Give a bottle of water or coffee to a homeless person.
4. Find a soup Kitchen to work at: They are in every community. There is one on Boynton Beach Blvd, between Military and Lyons called THE SOUP KITCHEN: 561-732-7595. You can make a whole loaf of Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches with your friend, kids, grandchildren. Have a competition to see who can make them the fastest and make it fun. Then put the sandwiches back in the bread loaf bag and call the kitchen to drop them off. It’s cheap and easy and a wonderful thing to do. They also accept leftovers, or other foods. Just call them, or call me if you live in another area and we will help to find a local soup kitchen together.
5. Do you have a neighbor who lives alone and struggles to make ends meet? You could bring a care package. Reach out and bring a plate for dinner, a plate of cookies, a cooked turkey? Get creative!
6. Do you constantly have leftovers when you go out to eat, or when you bake, or when you make a dinner for friends and family? Bag up or pack up those leftovers, ask for a doggie bag or to go box at the restaurant and silverware, and take a drive around! I know there are always several homeless people at the corner of Congress and 6th avenue and they SHARE with each other. Or, you know where you can be safe and hand out food. GO there. Wherever you are! If you are out of state, out of the country, even better. That means our vision is reaching farther.
7. Can you come up with another idea and share it with the group. Email directly to the group or email me and I will compile more ideas in this list for us to use!
We CAN make a difference. We CAN show the world that ML has changed the world and will continue to! Let’s get it started in HERE! Let’s talk about LIFE!
Please send this letter, or you can edit it (even better), to everyone in your address book, and everyone in THEIR address book! Just think of the difference WE will make when we enroll everyone in our vision…. …isn’t that the goal???? Ask your friends, and I am asking YOU all –to respond back to the group after Saturday, as to what YOU did for LIFE DAY. Did you get a smile? Did it make a difference? Did you feel warm inside? WE ARE THE DIFFERENCE WE SEEK! LET’S Get it Started OUT THERE!! GO TEAM EARTH!
