PYHO brings the Magic....Two City of Lake Worth Homeowners

Thanks to I big effort of Volunteers from Christ Fellowship http://gochristfellowship.com/ and Northwood Universty http://www.northwood.edu/fl/, Paint Your Heart Out and the Solid Waste Authority has brought the magic and caring to two residents in the City of Lake Worth.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Project is proud to be a part of such two heart warming events and would like to remind all neighbors in and out or our city and into all of Palm Beach County that YOU as neighbors can make a difference every day by just caring for the people that live near and next to you.

We try and let you know what is happening in every neighborhood but keep in mind in these economic times there are more people in need than ever and it is more than ever a time to for Neighbors to Help Neighbors in your area. Please organize and help your own neighborhood to become a better place by lifting up those who live right next door.

Both Homeowners now know that people in Palm Beach County do care about them and received a fresh new coat of paint on the outside of their homes.

This is a great start however both homes need additional assistance. We will be listing their needs soon and hopefully additional volunteers and services can be provided.

We Thank the Solid Waste Authority's Joanna Aikens and John Stead for the donation of thier time, Paint and tools to get the job done and especially thank all the volunteers from all over the county for coming and sharing this wonderful day of helping those in need with us.

October Update on 2212 Collier!!

Hey GANG we are Very Close to having this home clean out and ready for the Rehab process!!!

This past Saturday was another success and I want to Thank Kaitlin, Jenny, Joanna, Michael and his Mother, Jenny's friend (Sorry I need to get her name again!!) for all the hard work along with Trixie's Daughter Dawn and grand kids! We have come to a cross roads for this project where we need to complete the cleaning process as most of the big trash items are gone.

We need volunteers for October 23rd to wipe and clean every item in the home down, finish the master bedroom and bathroom, remove bed from the master bedroom place to curbside and a contractor to donate his or her time to help make a list of repair work.

This day will be the final cleaning day and need to move to the next levels. Also please keep watching this blog as we have many other events coming up in many different area's and we are trying to get volunteer's to help manage the blog so we get everything listed. Please enjoy the slide show below and again THANK YOU ALL for every thing you have done for this very difficult project!

Puppy needs good home!

Subject: help find this puppy a home :-)

Hello. I found this puppy on Saturday in the projects. An idiot (could choose a better word, but...) was dragging around puppies on a bicycle and trying to sell them; they even were making them fight each other. Needless to say, I was able to get ahold and save one. Unfortunelty, we cannot have a dog, so I took her to PBC Animal Care & Control.

In an effort to find her a loving home, I am sending this to you in hopes you or someone you know can give her a forever home. She is young, friendly, sweet, loving, enjoys her belly rubbed and loves to give kisses.

Check her out at (copy and past the link in your broser)...

Please forward to others who maybe interested. Thank you (and I know she thanks you for making an effort to save her life).
