Joy Brenner's House gets a PYHO make Over!
El Sol painted the home of Joy Brenner in Jupiter. (Pictures at bottom of post)
She keeps a very nice house and lives in a beautiful neighborhood. PYHO was able to have the house pressure cleaned and ready for painting. The volunteers from El Sol and myself painted and were done in just under 2 hours. The rest of the time we painted and touched up. Here are the photos I took of the volunteers from El Sol. Many thanks to Jocelyn and Dora for organizing with me. But special thanks to Antonio, Filiberto, Jose, Juan Carlos, Victor, Telesforo, Miguel , Juan Camposew, Fernando , Simion, Genaro and Baltazar. You guys are amazing and have helped so many homeowners with their needs for maintenance. We can only say another thank you and you are very much appreciated.
Joy had to go to work when we painted but she came to see us in action and she got out of the car she was crying tears of joy... it was quite touching to all of us. We gave her hugs and there are no words to describe her appreciation written all over her face. It was a great moment.
Enjoy the photos and Joy we are proud of the PYHO team and the beautiful paint job we did on your home, play house and mailbox.

Mother in Boynton in Need.
We have a Mother in Boynton that Joanna Aiken with Paint Your Heart Out has just painted her home. We found out that Tracey has been slowly buying furniture for her home and right now has only the Children's bedrooms furnished. She is still in need of Living Room and Dinning Room furniture and if any one has donations of these items that are suitable for a family...
Please contact us by any of the following ways. Joanna Aikens at jaikens@swa.org with Rebuilding Together of the Palm Beaches and/or Robert Waples nhnproject@gmail.com or Ruth Moguillansky-DeRose rmoguill@pbcgov.org
We can make the arrangements to pick up if necessary and deliver. You may also call and leave a message at 561-909-8708.
Your help and donations are greatly appreciated!

Devoure Family
The Desouvre family had the home inspection and paid over $300.00 for it. The inspection passed with everything. They moved in the beginning of this year and then the rain came and the water came in from many places. The fact that the house needed a new roof badly was never discussed and did not show up on any report. They have tried all ways to find out how this could happen and have reached many dead ends.
They found out about Rebuilding Together a national nonprofit in which volunteers all over the country help homeowners in need. RT has contacted and received a great response from National Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association. There are roofing companies that have stepped up and are ready to help this family but need to share in the expenses.
The homeowners have raised funds in the amount of $1,800.oo and RT received donations from companies and individuals. The HOA has received many calls about the blue tarp and as you can see in the photos none of us would want this in our neighborhoods.
The part that alarms me is that they have a 3 year old and there mold issues in the house. The new roof will stop the mold from growing and would not do any more damage to the structure and interior of the home. The water comes from the ceiling fans and lights so they can't be used until the roof is fixed. The bids have come in from $6,500.00 labor
only , if we could get supplies donated to $9,500.00 to $12,000.00.
This husband and wife both work and are very talented and professional. They have not wanted to ask of our help but they really need it. I feel that they need a chance to live in this very great neighborhood and live safely for the sake of their 3 year old .
What we are asking from Rebuilding Together that if you could find any sources to be able to help it would be much appreciated. A donation , a donation of supplies for the roofing materials , time and skills for labor.
Thank you for your time and a have to send a special thanks to Bob McNab from Graboski Roofing and Dave from Sky high roofing. They have stepped up to the plate and made some great offerings to help this family.

2212 Collier Ave is a GO this Saturday Nov. 13
All Volunteers! We have enough to have a team for Trixies house this Saturday and would like to invite everyone that would like to also come and help to get the last part of the clean up done in order to move us to the next step which will be the Rehab! We are working very hard to get the Trade People and Donations/Grants that will be needed to get the inside back to habitable status so Trixie can move back in.
Only to the grace and hard work of all of YOU have we been able to come this far! From all of us at ROLOH, Niehbors Helping Neighbors, Rebuilding Together of the Palm Beachs and Paint Your Heart Out we thank you for all that you have done!
See you Saturday!!!
