Boynton Beach Mayor - City Hall Clean Up

This is an important message from the City of Boynton Beach.

Mayor Rodriguez Rolls Up His Sleeves for City Hall Spruce Up

Volunteers Are Needed To Help

Join Boynton Beach Mayor Jose Rodriguez as he rolls up his sleeves on Saturday, May 21, for the Mayor’s City Hall Spruce Up. The Mayor is seeking up to 50 volunteers by May 18 to help him paint the exterior of Boynton Beach’s City Hall. Paint rollers and trays, brushes, buckets and tarps are also needed.

The Mayor’s City Hall Spruce Up is a great way to come together with co-workers, family and friends while participating in a “feel-good” activity. It’s also a good opportunity for youth to learn the value and importance of volunteering, and what a difference it can make.

The event will start at 7:00 a.m. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one two-hour shift and are advised to wear hats, sunscreen and arrive properly attired.

Those under 18 years of age must have their parent or legal guardian sign a Consent Form. Credit toward Community Service Hours is available with this activity.

Recycled paint for the project has been donated by the Solid Waste Authority. To register online for the City Hall Spruce Up, visit http://www.boynton-beach.org/community/city_hall_spruce_up.html
